“Toilet of Venus” (La Toilette de Vénus)
Impressionistic Bronze Sculpture
by Auguste Rodin (1840–1917)
Size: 17”H x 5”L x 11”W, 18 Lb.

Bring the raw emotion, fluid motion, and breathtaking beauty of the world’s greatest impressionistic sculptor into your private collection. Inspired by Auguste Rodin’s timeless masterpiece, “Toilet of Venus” is a breathtaking exploration of form and myth. The sculpture depicts Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, captured in a deeply intimate and vulnerable moment of repose.

Unlike traditional classical statues that focus on rigid symmetry, Rodin’s genius lies in his tactile, organic surfaces. The visible thumbprints and fluid, energetic texture of the bronze catch the light dramatically from every angle, giving the sculpture an almost living, breathing quality. This masterpiece is an exceptional statement piece for sophisticated collectors, lending museum-grade depth to a luxury home gallery, private library, or formal parlor.

This NEW bronze statue is hand finished and cast in the traditional Lost Wax Casting Process. This is a multi step process that insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. This sculpture is mounted on a beautiful marble base and includes an engraved brass plaque with sculpture name and artist. Each piece of art holds intricate details and realistic qualities, each a unique quality of art that blends the process of Lost Wax Casting Process as well as hands on detailing.
