“The Rattlesnake” Bronze Sculpture Table Lamp
Inspired by Frederic Remington (1905)
Size 24” H X 10” L X 6” W, 18 Lb.

Illuminate your interior with a thrilling piece of American Western history. Modeled after a medium size Frederic Remington’s celebrated 1905 sculpture “The Rattlesnake”—famously considered by Remington himself to be one of his finest works—this heavy bronze masterpiece has been transformed into a functional table lamp.

The artwork captures a heartbeat moment of high danger on the frontier: a startling rattlesnake strikes from the brush, causing the horse to recoil and twist violently while the cowboy grips his hat and braces in the saddle. Rising seamlessly from the bronze terrain base directly behind the horse, a sleek lamp pole extends upward to support a single tulip glass shade. When lit, the soft downlight accentuates every muscle, fold, and split-second movement of the sculpture, turning an iconic Western action scene into a warm lighting accent.
