If you are purchasing a larger bronze statue that you plan on mounting permanently, you can now get a mounting plate. This broad metal plate will make it easy to mount your new statue outdoors or indoors.
It consists of a broad metal plate with a 3/8″ hole in the center. The plate is welded to the bottom of the statue so you can bolt it to the ground, etc.

The two bolts go through holes in the marble, in my sculpture about 9 inches apart. The bolts allow for a minimum mounting plate thickness, but longer bolts would be easily available in a hardware store. This will be a good mounting solution.
They look like they will work, good quality.
