This gorgeous bronze Mercury Sculpture by Boschetti depicts the Roman God who guides souls to the underworld. His winged helmet represents the speed and efficiency with which he can carry disembarking souls to the underworld. Mercury is also considered the patron god of commerce. This sculpture would be beautiful in a garden or in a home. This bronze statue by Boschetti is handmade and cast in the traditional Lost Wax Casting Process. This insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. Mercury was the God of trade and profit. He was also known as the messenger for Zeus. He is commonly portrayed with winged feet and a staff with two snakes and wings entwined around it called a caduceus.

This NEW bronze statue is hand finished and cast in the traditional Lost Wax Casting Process. This is a multi step process that insures a quality bronze sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation. The Medium and Large Sculpture are mounted on a beautiful marble base and includes an engraved brass plaque with sculpture name and artist. Color Choices – The standard way we cast this sculpture is with what we refer to as multi-color patina. However, we can also make the entire sculpture classic statuary brown for a more traditional look. Both are very nice and weather the same. Color selection is more a matter of preference.

* Mounting brackets can be welded on the monumental size for permanent installation at your location for an added $75.00. Mounting screws / bolts can be inserted in the bracket under the sculpture for a secure permanent installation. You may not need then in a residential setting, but they are highly recommended for public art installations.
